1. Game Boy

Ah, of course the Game Boy had to be the first one on this list! Whether you played Tetris or The Legend of Zelda, this handheld console promised endless hours of fun. Even all these years later, it still has a special place in many of our hearts.

2. Barbie

The best thing about Barbie dolls was that they came in so many different outfits, themes, and occupations, which made it fun for kids who loved roleplaying and storytelling. Plus, the collectibles that came with each doll—clothes, cars, houses—made it all the more fun.

3. Tamagotchi

Another toy that defined our childhood was the Tamagotchi. No matter which version you got or grew up with, the experience was the same, which allowed us to raise a cute, tiny virtual pet. You might have even had more than one of these lying around when you were young!

4. Play-Doh

Remember making clay food and animals out of Play-Doh? This colorful, extremely moldable material allowed us to make everything under the sun, though it also left our hands sticky afterwards. No arts and crafts projects were complete without some Play-Doh!

5. LEGO

Whether you were building a car, a house, or an entire city, LEGO bricks let every kid bring their imagination to life. Sure, the tiny-sized ones hurt a lot when you accidentally stepped on one, but these little colorful pieces defined our childhood.
