It's Not Called Hollywood's Golden Age For Nothing
Hollywood continues to have its share of remarkable stars, but there are some actors from the past who have left such a mark, we wish they weren't mortals and could continue to grace our screens forever. These actors made passing blockbusters into unforgettable, timeless classics that we still enjoy several decades later. Here are five actors we wish were still on screen.

1. Humphrey Bogart
You can't even think about the Film Noir genre without the iconic Humphrey Bogart, sporting a trenchcoat, a pipe, and a moody look. He had an incredibly unique, mysterious, and melancholic on-screen persona that no one could match.

2. James Dean
The tragic thing about James Dean is how quickly his life was cut short. He was only in three major films before he died, which is all it took to make him an icon. Imagine what he would've accomplished if he had had more time.

3. Lauren Bacall
Not only was Lauren Bacall drop-dead gorgeous and famously married to Humphrey Bogart, but she was a seriously good actress. We miss her sultry voice and piercing green eyes.
4. Ingrid Bergman
Ingrid Bergman was known for her stunning natural beauty as well as her acting prowess. One of cinema's biggest stars, she won three Oscars over the span of her lifetime.
5. Gregory Peck
Everyone knew Gregory Peck's face in the 1950s and '60s because he was in practically every major movie. He elevated the timeless films we still enjoy today, like To Kill a Mockingbird and 12 Angry Men, with his memorable performances, but we wish we could still see him playing new roles.
